This performance was a combined elements of burlesque, puppetry and Butoh while commenting on over-consumption and destruction of resources. In the performance, the artist emerges from a writhing, moving pile of found trash as a sexualized feminine archetype, who is under the seductive spell of capitalist consumption. Her sensual movements change to erratic desperation in the search for clean water as she digs through the pile of human plastic waste.
